In the premier segment of EcoExchange, Andrea Lacca talks with Bob Wendelgass, PA State Director of Clean Water Fund. Bob explains how businesses, schools and parents nationally are using safer alternatives to combat insects, bugs and rodents. Andrea and Bob discuss the adverse health effects of traditional pesticides on children.

Bob Wendelgass, Activist

A driven activist, he is known by many throughout the state legislature as a fair and persistent organizer. For almost a decade now, Bob Wendelgass has been the State Director of Clean Water Fund in Pennsylvania. Overseeing the Allentown, Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh offices are just some of his responsibilities. Wendelgass is the coordinator of the Pennsylvania Campaign to Reduce Pesticides in Schools. In that role, he works with municipalities and schools helping them to switch to less toxic forms of pest control.
