Supporting Environmental Education in Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Alliance for Environmental Education is the professional membership organization for the Commonwealth's environmental community. PAEE is comprised of teachers in public and private schools, naturalists in education centers and museums, employees of government agencies as well as concerned citizens in a network that promotes environmental literacy through teacher training, conferences, workshops and publications. In this video, hear from past PAEE president Scott Palermo and others about the advantages of bringing environmental issues into mainstream school curriculums, where they provide real-life problem solving opportunities in multiple disciplines including English, math, science and social studies.
