| The Awwa Research Foundation presented a free
program on security risk assessment for drinking water utilities.
This teleconference addressed numerous concerns and possible
solutions to help water utilities improve security. Topics discussed
were key security design principles, available security technologies,
a methodology for security risk assessment at water utilities,
and the process of selecting security consultants.
The presenters of this teleconference were Jeffrey Danneels and
Basil J. Steele. They are experts on utility security and vulnerability
from Sandia National Laboratories.
