We have taken a great interest in Peregrine Falcons and during our research had the opportunity to attend the banding of a lone Peregrine Falcon eyas, located in City Hall in Philadelphia, PA. This chick hatched in late April 2000 along with another that did not survive. Peregrine Falcon eyasses have a high mortality rate in their first year. The Peregine Falcon is still listed as endangered in Pennsylvania with approximately ten pairs nesting in and around the state. We hope that you enjoy the site as much as we enjoy sharing this experience with you!
