The Award Winning GreenWorks Gazette was first published in
the winter of 2000 by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental
Protection (DEP), in partnership with the Environmental Fund for Pennsylvania,
to provide the public with information on how individuals, students,
businesses, schools and farmers can protect the environment by recycling,
buying recycled content products, saving energy, recycling land, building
green buildings and protecting their watersheds.
