Sam Goldberg is the president of American Formulating & Manufacturing,
a company whose mission is to providing building and maintenance products
that are formulated to be as safe and not toxic as possible from a human
health standpoint. Because of his support for environmental issues and
belief that effective change can best be accomplished within existing
structures and the marketplace, Mr.Goldberg has pursued making AFM into
a company that helped solve indoor air pollution and chemical toxicity
problems without requiring sacrifices from, or changing the behavior
of, consumers. American Formulating & Manufacturing has now been recognized
as the producer of the safest building materials by both companies and
governments, and has received a Special Commendation for Environmental
Achievement and an Earth Award from the City of San Diego, and the AMA’s
Edison Award for Best Environmental Products.
