How it began?
Ed Kron founded Kronosport inc., in 1997, after acquiring exclusive
manufacturing and distribution rights for three alternative vehicles,
from the developers in England. Through numerous grants and loans,
such as a $200,000 opportunity grant from the Department of Community
and Economic Development, and a $60,000 low interest loan from Ben
Franklin Technology partners, he has managed to gain a lot of interest
in these no-emission vehicles. Combined with great media coverage
at events such as the GOP Convention, which leased several vehicles,
he is well on his way to achieving his goals of wide market acceptance.
Not only is he working for a better environment, but in the process
is developing hundred of new jobs in Philadelphia.
