Rosemary Kesling has been working with the Pennsylvania
Resource Council for the last ten years. She compiles information
on recycling for Verizon phone books, which are used in six
states and the District of Columbia.

"I began
attending recycling conferences, before I even had a job."
|
|
Before working at the PRC, her concerns for the environment
led her to join her local civic association, where she eventually
became president. As president she encouraged organization for
recycling, and even helped create a recycling program in her
township, which is still in use today. She became a member of
the PRC and began attending meetings, which led to part-time
work, and eventually a full time job. After 10 years, she's
still working hard to spread information on recycling. |

We
also met with Deirdre Huzzard and Frances Pieri, who help educate
students and communities, with their traveling trunks. These trunks
are filled with educational games and activities, which help kids
learn, while still having fun.
