the difficulties that it has been through, and how the community has
worked in recent years to clean up its water, air, and land. The environment
in Erie, like that of so many United States cities, was adversely
effected by many otherwise positive industrial and economic trends.
Now is the time to clean up the area, while prosperity continues.
