  • Six year-old Mary Zuzack, who suffers from asthma, as well as Mary's family and doctor, who describe the daily impact of air quality on the Zuzacks' lives;

  • Keystone AAA, PennDOT, and the PA Department of Environmental Protection, all of which have teamed up to help motorists understand the new vehicle emissions inspection program which will assist Pennsylvania in attaining federal health-based air quality standards for ground-level ozone,

  • The Kistler-O'Brien Fire Protection Company in Bethlehem, which uses computer-simulated fires to train new firefighters rather than having to create air pollution with real fires;

  • The Westinghouse Corporation, which participates in the Environmental Protection Agency's Green Lights Program to reduce energy use and electricity bills while keeping company facilities well-lit and bright;

  • Norm Feldman, indoor air quality "guru" at the Clean Air Council, who has taught hundreds of schools, businesses, and individuals about keeping indoor air clean;

  • Home owners who have tested and protected their homes against dangerous radon gas, with the help of the Pennsylvania Resources Council and the PA DEP;

  • People who get to work via alternative transportation-including bikes, van pools, and the South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority mass transit system-so that they are able to leave their cars at home and reduce air pollution levels;

  • Pennsylvania Power & Light employees active in the company's measures to cut sulfur dioxide, particulate and nitrogen oxide emissions from its power plants.
