Group Against Smog and Pollution (GASP) is an organization dedicated to helping people understand the ways their own actions affect air quality. One way they do this is by lending equipment that monitors air quality to schools throughout the Pittsburgh area, to help students better understand the air they breathe. GASP's student air monitoring program introduces students to ecological concepts in a hands-on way that has direct bearing on their own lives. This way, they fully understand why these issues are important.
