Lake Erie Faces Non-Native Species

Length: 6 minutes

The Erie chapter of the National Sea Grant program advises residents about fish and other wildlife that is impacted by pollution. In Lake Erie, Sea Grant works with the round goby fish and the zebra clam, two non-native species that threaten the ecosystem by conveying toxins through the food chain. Advice from groups like Sea Grant helps residents deal with and solve these kinds of problems.
