Faces of the Farm
Length: 27 minutes
This episode is a special edition of the award winning GreenWorks
for Pennsylvania television program. "Faces of the Farm"
brings you intimate portraits of three farming families in changing
times. While we consider farming to be part of our national identity,
two acres of farmland are now lost every minute to new housing developments.
Small family farmers are being forced to make tough decisions as
they deal with the effects of suburban sprawl, a pattern of land
use spurred on by the booming economy and our changing lifestyles.
Produced by the Environmental Fund for Pennsylvania for the GreenWorks
for Pennsylvania television program.
