The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has been producing various public service announcements (PSA’s) to increase environmental awareness. These television PSA’s are only 30 seconds long, but they are very catchy. Some are geared toward children through the use of dancing, music, and such characters as “Old Tire Guy” and “Milk Jug Gal.” Others intend to provide useful information for adults. Keep your eye out for the upcoming PSA’s: “The Recycle Guys.” They are “In the Backyard” and “In the Supermarket” ready to give you information on how to be more environmentally friendly.
