Run Watershed Alliance - A Community Improving Its Water Quality

The goal of the Lititz Watershed Initiative is to improve a Pennsylvania
community's water quality through a comprehensive long-term watershed
management strategy. The strategy was developed and implemented by
an alliance ofcommunity members, business owners and government officials.
This video provides an overview of the initiative, begun in 1997,
that can be used as a model for other communities and citizens who
would like to get involved in stream restoration, watershed preservation,
wetland restoration and other environmental issues.
Produced by the Lititz Watershed Alliance in conjunction with the
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection under Act 319
of the Federal Clean Water Act.
