Length: 5 minutes This video shows how easily wildlife is affected by decisions we make daily. A native Pennsylvania bird, the peregrine falcon population was once decimated by pollution and development that destroyed its habitat. Now, nesting programs are helping the falcon make a comeback. In Harrisburg, two falcons make their home fifteen stories up on a window ledge of the offices of the Department of Environmental Protection. The nesting box is joint effort of the PA DEP, the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the PA Game Commission.
